The
West Island Soccer School (WISS) is a summer soccer camp designed to help kids become better and happier
soccer players. Since 1999 we have designed well-rounded training programs to
help teach kids various soccer skills (ball control, shooting, passing,
movement off the ball, and communication) always in an environment conducive
to learning. Our belief is that a positive and enthusiastic attitude,
combined with highly experienced and knowledgeable coaches, creates the
perfect soccer camp atmosphere. Players who participate achieve new and
higher levels of skill and confidence, as well as an increased love for
soccer itself.
As well as taking pride
in being teachers of the game our coaches are excellent role models for young
soccer players. They have the skills and experience to be able to demonstrate
exercises with the utmost quality so players can see exactly how to perform.
We make an effort to teach kids the importance of sportsmanship, health &
nutrition, and setting goals; life skills that are just as important off the
field as they are on it. Kids sign up for our camps and have the time of
